The Cincinnati House of Prayer’s Israel Mandate

One of our specific assignments at the Cincinnati House of Prayer is to partner with and stand for Jesus’ purposes concerning Israel and the Jewish people in our region and beyond. We do this by praying, mobilizing and teaching on Israel and standing with and encouraging Messianic believers in our region and throughout the earth. (See “Ways We Stand For The Purposes Of God Concerning the Jewish People and the Nation of Israel” below.)

The Cincinnati House of Prayer is committed to seeing the Jewish people walking in their full destiny at the end of the age in salvation. We are committed to seeing the salvation and prosperity of Jerusalem and the land of Israel. As well as, to pray for and partner with Messianic Jews who are living in our region, Israel and the nations.

The operation and visitation of the Spirit in Israel is a vital part of releasing the great end-time harvest among the nations (Ezek. 36:23–36). However, this full release will only come as a result of a body of believers who are committed to a life of night-and-day prayer and fasting unto this end.

Jesus Himself prophesied that He would raise up a last-day prayer movement that would cry out for the Jewish people (Isa. 56:6–7, 62:6–7). We take this seriously at the Cincinnati House of Prayer. We desire to help mobilize an international prayer movement that would pray night and day for the nation of Israel to receive their Jewish Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus). It was Jesus who promised the nation of Israel an unusual visitation of His presence at the end of the age, when the Jewish leaders will recognize Him as their true Messiah and deliverer (Mt. 23:39).

We believe the Bible clearly shows the Jewish nation has been sovereignly chosen and set apart to be the ones through which salvation has come into the world and the ones who will serve the Lord as a priesthood nation for all time. We believe the Bible affirms they have not been rejected and/or stumbled beyond recovery as some might falsely teach (Romans 11:11). As the chosen nation of God that brought forth the salvation of the world through Yeshua (John 4:22) and that are called to serve all nations as ones who introduce Yeshua to all people and nations. It is because of Israel and their transgressions against God that the Gentiles have been grafted in to help fulfill the purposes of God on the earth and to provoke and bring forth the salvation of the Jewish people unto Yeshua. We as believing Gentiles (as Gentile branches grafted in to the Olive root) are grafted in and are to work in common with believing Jews (Messianic Jews) to be witnesses of the Lord unto the earth and to help hasten the coming of our common, one and only Messiah and Lord, Yeshua.

We invite you to search the scriptures with us concerning these matters and join us in praying for the nation of Israel, the salvation of Jerusalem, the Jewish people and our Messianic brothers and sisters.

Some Scriptures to Use in Prayer for Israel
My heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. (Rom. 10:1)

All Israel will be saved… The Deliverer [Jesus] will come out of Zion. He will turn
away ungodliness from Jacob; for this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins. (Rom. 11:26-27)

For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace [be silent; release a prophetic spirit], and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest [or I will not be inactive: release power], UNTIL her righteousness [in all heart issues] goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns [ministry to others]. (Isa. 62:1)
