A.W. Tozer says "Behind all previous matter, all life, all law, all space and all time, there is God. God gives to human life its only significance, there isn't any apart from Him." Nothing else except knowing God and being known by Him, experiencing a relationship with Him through Jesus will satisfy our souls.
In this class we will continue to study God's attributes (God's self existence, transcendence, eternalness, omnipotence, immutability, His wisdom, faithfulness, sovereignty and love) and tie it together with His Hebrew names. Ps 9:10 says "Those who know Your name will trust in you, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you."
We will also look at how God works in our lives by taking snippets from "Song of Songs, The Journey of the Bride" by Brian Simmons and "The Priestly Bride" by Anna Rountree. We learn about a God so big, He created the universe, yet He is wooing us into a relationship with Himself. Grace has a face and His face is smiling. Eph 3:19 "That we may really come to know (practically through experience) the love of Christ..."
Not required to have taken Attributes 1 to take this class.
Book included with the class: The Attributes of God, Volume 11, by A. W. Tozer

The future of the church is sure to be filled with people who operate in the prophetic anointing. In the generation in which the Lord returns, the whole church will receive dreams, visions, and prophetic experiences (Acts 2:17-21). This will be exciting as well as challenging. New dimensions of the Holy Spirit’s ministry will certainly emerge that will demand faithfulness to the Scriptures as well as deep humility as learners (1 Cor. 3:18). This is not a good time in history for a “know-it-all” but rather it’s the proper time for the virtue of humility expressed in a teachable spirit as we go to greater depths in the prophetic.
This is the second installment of "Growing in the Prophetic" class taught this past Fall. It's not a requirement to attend this second class.
This class will be a combination of discussion, and practicum facilitated by Rusty Geverdt.
This class will be limited to 25 due to space and some of the particulars of the class.
